We brought our laptop (that is really sad...) so I though I would share a couple of photos. The first is at sunset last night down on the beach; the second is from our balcony this morning. A little virtual vacation for you. Can't you smell the salt sea air and hear the squawking of the sea gulls?
The last one is of Bob working on a puzzle. They were giving them away at the Radiation Center when we were there yesterday. Not only did his PSA go down a wee bit but we got a puzzle to boot. The best thing about the puzzle is that it is one that has already been put together and they put large chunks of it back in the box. That makes putting together 1000 pieces much easier on a two-night sta

on our way out to take a walk on the beach then go to lunch at Dooger's. They have the best clam chowder!!! It is a white-type but it has a flavor like none other.

Nice photos...can't wait until we go next month. I'm jealous you get to go to Doogers. They do have the best clam chowder...and I hate clams, so that's saying something!
P.S. Can you load those ladderback chairs into your Acura and bring them to me? I would re-cover them and put them in my kitchen!

We ate at The Wayfarer restaurant for lunch today. Not cheap but their clam chowder, hot crab sandwich and mmmmm, chocolate dessert was wonderful. The view from my side of the table was fabulous but your dad/Bob only could see another building. I tried to get him to sit next to me but he wanted more elbow room. It sticks out on the beach just north of Haystack Rock.
Bob/your dad said he liked the food much better than Thursday's dinner at Dooger's (I wasn't spelling well yesterday) although he preferred Moe's prices. We ate at Moe's Wednesday night since we were tired from the drive over and all we had to do was take a very short walk from where we stayed.
What beautiful photos! I can't wait for us to get a good digital camera. Did you bring any clam chowder home for us? Mmmm... too bad I can't have it. I don't think it's on the list of allowable foods.
We didn't bring salt-water taffy or Doogers clam chowder home. We were going to bring some of Doogers back but we had such a nice lunch at The Wayfarer restaurant that we forgot. Their chowder was wonderful.
